Adds more fees each year

Overall, good product. You need to know when to dig deeper, for example, Turbo Tax initially wanted to tax the earnings on my qualified 529 withdrawals. If I didn't dig deeper, I would not have gotten to the point where it would take that off. Link the 1098T with the 1098Q. Big issue in my opinion. Ultimately, you don't even need to report the 1098T and Q if the 529 withdrawal is qualified.
Also, more annoying than anything - I had multiple 1099s from brokerage firms that were available early, but for some reason, the program would not even look them up to download that because the date was prior to when they thought it would be ready. Delayed me filing by about a week. Meanwhile, I had paper copies that I downloaded in hand.
ESPP functionality is very good, surprisingly. The program easily led me to determining my adjusted cost basis, which is why I buy the premier version. Kudos. Just have the same flow and functionality for college expenses/529s!

Couldn't get the import to work for 1099s

Turbo Tax was unable to import my 1099s from Morgan Stanley eTrade. I verified my credentials were correct but it would not work.

I was disappointed. Seems like the software was actually better in years past, or at a minimum there's been no improvement. I expected AI to make this way better but it hasn't seemed to. Gemini was more helpful with navigating the program than Turbo Tax itself was. When I can't import data I should be able to drag and drop tax forms and be done.

Always liked TruboTax, makes taxes easy to do, downloads complex investment documents to ensure accuracy.
Easy to use, have not needed to call the help line yet, Using with Windows computer...will need to try on a Linux machine some year.

I live overseas but have a rental property in CA. I went to pay my $20 state filing fee but the program would not accept my out of the country address and wouldn't let me file
