Not Accurately transferring Data

I am a little disappointed because I have been using TurboTax for several years, but this year, when the information was transferred from last year's file, the middle initials of taxpayer and spouse got cramped into the last name, getting to be the first letter of the last names. I didn't notice and the the IRS rejected the return. It just make me doubt about anything else that I could be missing if I don't double check.

I have been using TurboTax for at least 20 years and its very accurate and efficient. I trust it and wouldn't change to anything else.

Please include state filing fee w purchase

I would rate 5 stars if the company would include E-filing with the State in the cost of the desktop software. Also I almost payed $45 dollars rather than the advertised $15 to e-file state because I select pay with my refund. "Premium Service fee" or something like that you need to uncheck! Come on people!

Premier Credit Card Glitch

The credit card payment glitch was the last straw when finalizing the charge to efile a charge was levied via credit card as I did not have the option of a refund deduction. The payment glitch with my Premier version did not allow for a credit card month greater than 08 (August) and I had the month of November (11)--this caused endless suffering as my Mac does not have a mouse nor would the trackpad allow for me to scroll to month 11. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd like a refund of the cost of this worthless software.

Turbo Tax is super easy

Turbo Tax is so easy to use. It walks you through the information step by step. Love that it checks for errors and that it files electronically. Notifications are sent when the Federal and State returns are accepted. I've used Turbo Tax for 20 years with absolutely no problems.

Updates come at a snail's pace, clunky product

The updates are provided, on average, about a month after I actually needed them - VERY slow in providing a complete, ready to go product. Interface is EXTREMELY clunky, requires WAY more mouse clicks to do what you need to do, and whomever decided to NOT provide the "opt out" of auto-importing documents should be tar/feathered.
