Needs improvement

The first update wiped out my work after 3 hours of data entry. The next up date locked up my computer. You need an automatic save before every update

Very frustrating software with many glitches.

Very glitchy software. Difficult to install. Wasn't sure when it was actually installed on my MacIntosh. The 1099-R Box 15B input glitch was a nightmare and required me having to pat $60 for a live tax advisor. She helped me with the fix which was totally non-intuitive given the input screens. She also told me many people ran into the same error. Finally even though I used Turbotax desktop the year before I needed technical assistance to import my taxes from 2024 into my returns for 2025. Which I needed to capture a carry over loss.

Online TurboTax Premier

I tried out the free offer to use the online version of TurboTax Premier and I have to say that I am not really a fan. I have used the desktop version for quite some time and guess, since I am much more familiar with that format, that is why I prefer it over the online version.

TurboTax Gets Harder To Use Every Year

I have been using Turbo-Tax for 15+ years. It gets harder every year. Downloading 1099-R investment files or uploading State Tax add-ons require me to Google and "how-to" sites.

Tax Filing made easy

Very easy to use. One problem was moving smoothly from Audit Risk to Filing. Seemed to go back to Analysis again and again. I finally selected File, which should have been the next step.
