Not really helpful when it comes to 529 accounts.

The expenses I incurred for college-age children could not deducted even when I meals used the 529 accounts and there was no explanation provided in the software

Needed more support

I could not get my 2024 return to populate in my 2025 return. I had to manually input everything. I called for support and the representative was not able to help me.

Great Product ~ Beware of Pop-Ups

I have used TurboTax for many years and find it relatively easy to use. I have had no audits using TurboTax. That being said, I don't appreciate all the pop-up ads to sell additional products. I feel the ads could be deceiving and especially confusing for older users.

Program locks up the next time I utilize

Programs locks up each time I return to use it. I need to uninstall and then reinstall to utilize. I am using a two year old Mac with sequoia operating system, so that should no be the problem.

Good program, but downloads need work

The investment sections downloads from various institutions is flawed. Quite a bit of required information is left off, and then has to be manually entered. That is not what I expect from a $100+ piece of software

Always used Turbotax Desktop

Overall product was fine but for some reason when it did update it took an extreme amount of time (almost 2 hours).
