Turbo Tax needs an overhaul

Overall very good software with two critical flaws. First, you need to make it easier and more clear for someone to access the software that allows you to complete multiple returns. I paid for an online version because it indicated that I could perform multiple returns. After hours of wasted time, I found the correct software but am now out the money. Second, you need to make it much easier to account for 529 distributions. Your software automatically assumes the distributions are taxable income and you have to jump through hoops to include the college expenses. I would love to see a reversal of the cost for the first software I purchased but do not have the time or energy to chase you guys. Lastly, your continue to make it harder and harder to use your software. I'm trying to send you feedback but it won't let me without a Nickname. Everyone pick has been used. I'll keep trying but this tells me you really don't want feedback.

Another year with TurboTax

As always it is a great product with easy-ability of use. It would be nice, when using the Back Door ROTH, to have the software make applicable updates. I always have to research how to do this in TurboTax.

turbo tax 2024 is terrible

in short, we had no problems with turbo tax programs prior to year 2022. Since year 2023 there were problems of installing and transmitting E files.Most problems occur for this, 2024, tax program. the steps for entering datas are slow, directions long, not clear, minimal options for help, etc.. we had to ask turbotax agents for help in installing the program, as well as E filing , due to programs hiccups . etc.....

Turbotax is good

i have been using TurboTax since 2006 and was disappointed that it was not available on DVD for 2024 in the event that my hard drive fails or something else catastrophic happens to the original copy. I like the option of being able to file electronically for both Federal and State returns.

Fast and easy step by step process

With TurboTax, I'm able to complete my taxes in a day, when it used to take several days. I also don't have to worry about making mistakes with the step by step process.
