Better than last year

Overall, better than last year. No issues printing, One issue when completing state returns said "9 digit state id required on Federal income ". However, the tax id received on forms from agencies only have 6. Turbo Tax required to add leading 000 to number but it does not direct you to specific pages were required.

Worst TurboTax ever

It took forever to get updated to a useable version this year. The ability to download information from financial institutions also came out late. The constant nagging to use the on-line version was irritating. I tried the on-line version and it didn't work at all. There are problems with the RMDs and my brokerage firm since they gave me two 1099R forms: one for my QCD and one for the withdrawal. I had to guess how to handle it. Also basic information like my name and address did not transfer.

TurboTax is Uneven

Uneven. Could not use on-line version because it would not pull in last year's return. Had to purchased more expensive desktop version. Would not pull in Fidelity Investments but did Edward Jones.

Old Retired mans frustrations

I have a very simple return being as I'm retired and don't have much to deal with at all. However, it's still reasonably complicated and sometimes the wording in Turbo tax is not 100% clear. All I have is SSI, no other income and only a few small charitable donations along with vehicle registration, so why do I have to go through all of the other stuff. It's just frustrating.
