Turbo Tax Continues to Deliver!

Decades long Turbo Tax user. The software, while a tad difficult to load this year, provided easy-to-follow instructions and assists; when I needed more information the advisor interface was available to get the details I required. I really appreciate the many features of this TT Premier.

Good but Pricey

It was easy to use but it's costing way too much for what it does. It shouldn't be over $130 to do your own tax return with no help.

All changes are not improvements

Don't like the new block boxes on work on won. I ended up with extra due to previous year transfer and download and had trouble figuring which I needed to delete.
Also, would like to be able to see line calculations on form view.

Electronic Import of data

My financial institution, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, was not listed in the menu of options as it had been in years past. This added substantial time to the completion of my return as I had to enter all data manually and double check my entries manually. Merrill is a partner with Turbo Tax and I don't understand how it could have been omitted.

Good enough

Turbotax is straightforward. I like I can download accounts. I hate the IRS...far too complicated. It should be against the law to pay someone to do taxes...they should be simple enough with few rules that a parson with only a 6th grade education (most Americans) can understand. But, Turbotax, overpriced, is effective.
