Terrible eFile experience

my return this year is similar to last year. But you can not efile this year return, saying form8958 has more than 40 entries, which is completely false. Have already paid state eFile fee, so you should refund my payment.
The software is unreliable, often giving error messages which are not correct. Not sure if would use again next year.

Turbo Tax dulax 2024

I have been user for more than twenty years perhaps more. The software often askes individual to enter information from previous tax year return while it has access to those forms itself. At the very least it can say point me to those returns. The help is awful. Many times the help uses the same confusing jargon as the federal tax forms and doesn't simplify the explanations. Navigating has gotten worse many times it doesn't go to next item on the list and instead one has to invoke review again.

Walks through everything. It is accurate. I like that it pulls information from last year, but it could do more. There are a lot of things that it should already know and keep me from having to reenter, especially during the filing process. That would also speed things up! Not happy that in order to use in 2025 I will need to purchase a Widows 11 computer!!!

1st time using TurboTax

When trying to pay TurboTax fees, the portal window did not responding. Very frustraing to say the least. My state taxes were not properly filed by the deadline due to demographic information page.

TurboTax is good...needs work on "importing" data.

TurboTax works pretty well overall. I had some difficulty importing some of my investment information (from one investment broker -- Charles Schwab) early on. And I also had some "challenges" reporting my Foreign Taxes Paid information (on IRS Form 1116) because of having foreign tax information from five different 1099s (from three different investment brokers) that (each) had information on them from up to three foreign countries and three RICs (mutual funds).

TT is great

I have been using Intuit's Turbo Tax for many years, and have never failed an audit. The software is very accurate and easy to use. I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who wants to do their taxes. By the way, you can also get the Audit coverage which might be helpful
