Turbotax is running on past glory

Poor software. Many glitches requiring you to quit and restart TT to make it work normally. And the UI is clunky. The doc import is getting worse every year. Switching between forms and easystep has so many gaps . eg: Some forms had to be deleted and re-entered for it get the data updated correctly into the tax forms
Over the last decade TT has really gone downhill. Both ease of use via the interviews and also the UI are worse every year and this with the Premier edition

OK, but missed an important tax issue.

Generally good, but there was not an easy option to return to the home page to open another return when I was done with one. Had to close TurboTax and reopen. More importantly, TurboTax did not automatically add the "kiddie tax" forms for filers who are dependent and had investment income over the threshold. If I did not know to do that myself the returns would have been incorrect (very).
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Nice Crypto Upgrades for Turbo Tax

I like that there are more options to connect my crypto transactions. I see that the uploading of the CSV file didn't error out. These improvements made my Filing Easier. There are some nags, but that's just to make sure you are entering the information correctly. I also like that I can connect my Turbo Tax Software with my online account. That's a PLUS! Audit Defense is always good. I found the process to be quicker this year and more precise, the Turbo Tax Lay out is not as busy and easy to navigate. I felt confident using Turbo Tax because there is no additional charge to talk to a live tax professional if I get stuck. I used them last year, they were a hit and miss, but usually a HIT! I didn't need them this year because I got very familiar with Turbo Tax and hope they don't change a thing. if anything, just add more automatic connections to Crypto Exchanges to Turbo Tax, like Uphold and a few others.

State interface still needs work!

The interface makes it very tedious to go back through the guided inputs after completing a return. In many cases, especially for state (MA) return, I had to slog back through the interview just to navigate to pages that I wanted to access and re-review. In some cases, I had to answer the same questions again and again and again as I debugged and corrected the return. Also, not a fan of the restructuring of the income entry for the Federal return. It also felt like I was cycling back through redundant screens to enter interest, dividends, etc for the same institution.
