Unfortunately, the updates create more work. And the tab no longer goes from field to field, it goes to the help button next to each field. It's totally inefficient.

WASNT SURE IF THE SITUATION FOR MY DAUGHTER (FOR WHOM I WAS FILING HER TAXES) WAS ACCURATE: SHE IS MARRIED, BUT NOT TO THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER OF HER DAUGHTER, THEY AGREED THAT RACHEL FILES WITH MARGOT AS HER DEPENDENT, NOT THE BIOLOGICAL FATHER AND MY DAUGHTER PAYS MARGOT'S CHILD CARE COSTS. QUESTIONS WERE ABOUT HER HUSBAND AND WHETHER SHE LIVED WITH HIM. i WASNT SURE IF THIS WAS BEING APPLIED TO THE CHILD CARE QUESTIONS OR TO SOME OTHER ASPECT OF THE RETURN. THANKS OTHER THAN THAT ITS GREAT.

Over 15 years of great tax returns.

I have used TurboTax for more than 15 years. This year I had trouble with transmitting, but once I cleared the browser cache, it filed in seconds. The support help through the web helped. I liked the feature this year that helped you estimate next year's taxes.

User experience during startup is painfully slow

Every time I start Turbo Tax it takes an eternity to download updates and install them. This is quite unacceptable from a user experience point of view! 2. I have a $10 credit in my account when I purchased Turbo Tax but I was charged the full $25 for my state tax refund , instead of the $15 that I expected. Classic bait and switch move by Intuit.

It Gets the Job Done

I don't do importing and I usually file MeF, but I had to file paper this year. I don't like the download requirement - I prefer a CD. TurboTax didn't import my 2023 data and I had to manually enter everything. What a hassle!
