TurboTax Makes Taxes Less Taxing!

I've used TurboTax for many years and would not even consider another tax prep software! I have some tax literacy but TurboTax makes it so easy even a novice could get through it. It's INTUIT-ive and aesthetically pleasing from a user standpoint. And I've had great success with importing W-2s and other information to streamline the process. Wouldn't head into tax season without it.

During the review process, there seem to be some unnecessary questions asked. Same thing at start up, over and over again.

Still Onerous to use Premier

Turbo Tax 2024 software is still onerous to use: For example, I had to file a Form 2210 for uneven 2024 income flow and ended up having to manually calculate capital gains and qualified dividends and manually enter many entries before TT stopped flagging "Errors" during the Review process. I also had to hunt for where to ADD Additional payments made other than Estimated Payments. There should be more automatic Query messages to ask if we made additional payments. More Explanations as to why the program is making certain entries would be helpful in understanding the tax returns.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

A real limitation for complex returns

Lots of technical issues and no way to correct modify or work for a correction. Missing information on e-file issues by code. Difficult navigation. Difficult to see real time summaries. Turbotax fails to capture carry forward values and prior payments from the prior year even as it captures other information from the prior return.
