Taxes late due to bug entering personal info

Turbotax is a complete failure. My taxes are late because of some ridiculous bug just in the entering of personal information. When I submitted my mother’s taxes, we went through the same thing. The fix was to delete certain info like address and retype it. Then it worked. This is absolutely ridiculous. When it was finally time to submit my own taxes, which was right at the deadline, I got the same error. But this time, I could not fix it. So I had to file for an extension. I will never use this product again.

Great product!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and have been well satisfied with the product. My 2024 taxes were somewhat more complicated due to estate issues, and it was necessary to file two Amendments. The first Amendment was fairly simple and filed online. The second one could not be filed through the online program so I sought assistance from one of your associates, Samantha, who was able to guide me through the process of filing it using the desktop version. She was very helpful and competent and the experience was good.

Turbo Tax is Great

Turbo Tax is indeed great. That's why I had been using TT for more than 10 years.
Most of my tax season head aches came from sources like follows:
(a) IRS direct pays, (b) FTB Web Pays (for CA) - credited to wrong year, no warning from software...

Disappointing experience after 22 years using Turb

Moved from Turbotax for Windows over to MacOS version. Extremely clunky experience. Some of the lowlights:
* A large return (including >100 QBI items from K1s) end up taking 40 mins of CPU spinning at 100% on the Mac when closing a file or exiting Turbotax. And the software can't be used at that time until complete. Which is ridiculous since the timestamp shows that the file is saved immediately. So what the heck is the software doing for the next hour???
* A large return (with > 150 QBI and K-1 forms) causes the selector pane on the left to freeze up and repeatedly reset when one of the forms are edited or deleted. So navigation becomes impossible.
*. The Mac version doesn't support "ESTIMATED" flag in an entry Supporting Details window. This makes Turbotax lose important previously-useful functionality. This is the wrong direction to evolve software as important as this over time.

Please put some of your profits to work by better engineering **basic features** such as performance, core usability, and Windows/Mac compatibility.
