Turbotax has seriously gone downhill.

You are only being rated fair because 1) you no longer provide CD's which is critical to my preferred way of using a computer, 2) your tech support for loading Turbotax onto a Mac and PC was not only terrible but falsely claimed that I could not use one license for both a Mac and a PC, 3) the answer on both the internet and from tech support was that I needed to buy two copies of Turbotax to load Turbotax (Premier) on a Mac and then a PC was not only false but it will be unacceptable in future years 4) Turbotax questions on state taxes are basically false since I live in Florida and it is quite agravating that I got at least 4 requests to file state taxes after Turbotax determined I did not need to file state taxes 5) the quality of your product has deteriorated since 2022.

Can't file electronically if you have overrides!

Turbo tax wouldn't let me file electronically due to a valid override and some info on a K-1 that was irrevelant. On top of that I had paid additional funds to file my state return electronically and I have no idea how to get that refunded.

Organization of Forms on left and Numbers source

The list of Forms along the left side of the screen should be in the order of the forms when filed. That would make it easier to find. Ex. 1040, schedule 1,2,3, Schedule A,B,C,D (along with their corresponding forms), etc. Why is charitable contributions first?
When I see a dollar amount in a box, I used to be able to double click it and the source or form would appear. I want to see the list of supporting numbers that came up with the total. Ex.Schedule D, line 12...which numbers were added up? I had to ask AI and search every K1.

The biggest problem with TT is every time I open it - -it goes into an update mode for several minutes. This may make sense during tax season, but here we are in Sept. '25 & I want to review some figures from my already filed TT "2024 return. Surely neither the IRS nor TT continues to update 2024 figures in Sept. 2025.
Also itt seems to me there are some instances when downloading brokerage div / cap gain reports some items don't carry over (can't remember exactly - maybe items like foreign tax amts & preparer must enter items manually & then make decisions re: whether to claim as a deduction or credit).

Went OK, as in earlier year--except couldn't file on Sunday because Intuit had an "internet transmission problem." File w/ no problem today.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Forms view is useful. Step by Step has limitations and a couple of bugs.
