Feature removed while cost goes goes up

Just like every year, the cost of TurboTax desktop went up. This year, however, there was an "extra" for those of us who file a Missouri paper return out of choice or out of necessity because TurboTax doesn't support certain Missouri forms for e-filing. This year for the first time in recent memory, TurboTax omitted the 2D barcode at the top of the Missouri 1040 printout. The barcode is meant to reduce or eliminate manual data entry and thus errors at the DOR. We are told this year (https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/re-mo-1040-missing-scan-code-this-year/01/3585878) that Missouri doesn't *require* the barcode, as if that is an excuse to remove the feature. I ended up reentering my Missouri return data into fillable PDFs provided by the Missouri DOR. Their forms include the barcode. Not cool, Intuit.

TurboTax sucks!

I sucks. Lacks adequate information for updating identify pin for federal filing. Would not allow me to switch to mail return for tax. When I tried to print for mail in filing, it printed documents as though I efiled. I wasted 2 hours and am very frustrated. Even instructions on ChatGPT to switch to mail does not match what I see in drop down menu

Confusing response

Filing an amended return is confusing. Why does it say I need to mail the return a well, not sure when it says on IRS website that you can file electronically.

I like Turbo Tax. Sometime it is difficult, but that because we need to knw what we are doing and also, Turbo Tax guides s through tax regulations and options that we were not aware of.
