turbotax is very useful

turbotax makes filing easier. i really enjoy using it. I did not understand why it did not has for our IP pins however and I am concerned that the IRS will reject.

TAXES CAN ALWAY BE A CHALLENGE BUT TUBOTAX IS THERE TO HELP. I WISH THE HOLD PROCESS COULD BE EASIER, MAYBE IN TIME.

Mav version is still work in progress

This was my first time using the software on a Mac after using for at least 10 years on a Windows machine.
On the positive side the experience was better than I expected but not totally seamless.
I could not import my 2023 Windows created file directly. I did a work around and was able to finally do that.
I found the bank/broker income download process somewhat cumbersome. It created a duplicate investment entry which would not delete even though it had a "trash can" symbol to click. The whole screen turned grey until I hit escape. It never deleted and in researching I found it is a known problem that Intuit is aware of but has decided to leave as is. That does not give me a good felling.
Lastly, I missed the ability to enter noters, comments and calculation for various fields as one can do with the Windows version.

Too many ads and pushing extra services are annoying. Present them once, make them available in a menu item, maybe remind just before submitting.... any more than that is too many in my view, and I'm planning to move to a different system for next years effort.
