The club discount would not apply on my state e-file and I didn't like that I had to download with no disc this year

TurboTax Works Well, Even for Complex Returns

I have been using one version of Desktop TurboTax or another for about two decades because I find it comprehensive, easy to follow, regularly updated and very much worth the cost. I especially appreciate the ability to toggle to and from the FORMS mode to the EASY STEP mode so the context of the queries and answers is quick to ascertain. As the IRC has become increasingly complex, TurboTax is even more valuable than when I first started using it.

Turbo tax is the way to go, but better UI needed

I have been using Turbotax every year since 1994, I like it overall. income ranges from < $65k in 1994 to > $1M in 2024. Rentals, stock, RSU, it handled it all smoothly. As a sanity check, I asked a professional tax preparer to review, for a fee, the TurboTax output for the years 2015 and 2017 through 2023, and they found no errors. In 2024, they changed how dividends and income are listed during the initial entry for EasyStep. It has large buttons now, and very confusing. I thought I entered the same 1099-INT twice because the buttons are so confusing. I did check the final forms, and I had indeed entered it twice, but once I saw it in the form mode, I could delete it. In the EasyStep mode, I hit the trash for that entry ten times, and it stayed there.
