Extremely helpful, but can be a challenge.

I had questions about the calculation of sales tax deduction: income in previous year was lower, but sales tax deduction was higher. This year income was almost twice previous year, but the sales tax deduction was lower. Doesn't make sense.
Also, I found an error in my MS state return. It wouldn't efile because it identified it as an "amended return", which was false. It's the original return for 2024, not amended.
It didn't make sense to pay $60 for those issues, but I would have liked the option to ask about them.
I've used TurboTax for many years. I appreciate it even with the glitches. One improvement I'd like to see is to have access to a detail box for input on a single line such as in medical expenses. I go to the forms view for that reason - to access the detail box to create a total amount from the detail of many. It also serves as a reminder of what was included in the amount. That should be made available in the step-by-step view.

Turbo Tax problems

I have used Turbo Tax for years & always enjoyed it. The change in the format was very difficult to use.

Different turbo tax

Wasn't as user friendly as in the past. I had a hard time going back to some of the forms to review such as rental property and selling the rental property. Also difficulty in reviewing state tax. Form stated I submitted it online for balance due but I didn't.

Bad to worse

I HATE the new format for interest, dividends, and stock transactions. The old way was much easier to use, and you could tell if you entered everything in each section. Now I'm not so sure.

Credit card payment fails, State program useless.

I did my taxes on time but because I am unable to make credit card payment for my state e-file I am unable to file and am now late and your state program is useless.
