Shouldn't have to pay $50 extra for help. Turbo tax had some issues, like a few pages that printed too large to fit on a screen and some other difficult areas that caused me to have to call,

Turbo Tax Premier - Desktop is awesome !!

I am Turbo Tax Premier -Desktop version for many years. I like the software as I use its walk me through function and system has feature to connect to financial institutions to upload to Software System.

TurboTax Itemized deduction bug

TurboTax has a bug. After it computes the federal itemized deductions and its clearly beneficial for the tax payer to take the itemized deduction, it defaults to the standard deduction selection. If the taxpayer does not double check the math, TurboTax will file the federal tax return with the wrong selection and the taxpayer winds up paying more taxes than they are obligated to pay.

Intuit corporate greed is despicable!

It is REPREHENSIBLE that Intuit/TurboTax has spent milions lobbying Congress and has donated $1 million to Trump's inaugural in order influence the Trump administration to eliminate the IRS' Direct File program. This is not in the best interest of the American public, especially those with low incomes. I just learned of this news and this year will likely be the last time I ever use TurboTax.
