TurboTax is easy to work with.

I found Turbo Tax an easy and productive software. Anyone with some basic tax knowledge can complete their taxes with little to no efforts.

The program hung when it got to the point of clicking on Pay with a Credit Card for electronic filing. Had to restart the program and then it worked. It also was not processing my state return properly. It was showing no State Income and no State Tax owed. I had to close the program and then restart it and then the state portion worked properly. So this all did not give me a great deal of confidence that my return didn't have errors. Hopefully all went well.

Turbo tax made my taxes late.

I worked up to the last minute and tried to file at 11:28. I tried and tried but was unable to pay, It kept telling me to try again later. Now my taxed are late thanks to Turbo Tax. I finally filed my fedral taxes late ut still can not pay and file ,my state taxes

I found the auto save was not working properly and needed to constantly save on my own. I have used this program for many years without any issues.

Intuit lobbies to prevent the government from creating its own free tools. If intuit rolled over and disappeared, the world would be a slightly better place very quickly. Hello? Intuit employee? Maybe your corporate owners are not the good guys?

I had a very good experience . I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. My tax form has gotten complicated and the tax specialist helped me to understand how to fill in a few categories. I appreciate that option.

20 Plus years of using Turbo Tax

I've been using TurboTax since the 90's. TT Premiere since it came out. Have seen many improvements over the years. I have had issues with the import functionality from the beginning. Fidelity seldom completes without dropping information. Computershare has never been available. EQ is new but so far not available others are onesies. The smoothness of the UI leaves much to be desired. Suggestions; way to import last years TT data from a file. Will most likely move to Fidelity's free online TT Premier so moving the past filings will be important. Hopefully the UI in the On line version will offer easier use?
