Turbo tax is getting worse.

It is very difficult to start. I had bought the premier edition and had trouble getting it to run. It has become so difficult that in the future I am considering using a different company or just doing my taxes by hand. I originally used tax cut but a while back bought turbo tax by mistake but found I preferred turbo tax and had been using it since. The past two years the experience has gotten worse to the point I am looking for different software.

pls fix AZ software

pretty thorough, but the Arizona software still is not including the $2500 tax exemption for state/local municipality pension in the Q&A format - I have to go to the form and track down the line and populate it that way. Almost miss out every year! Please fix it!!!

Good but with Quirks

The software is still pretty efficient, but has some sloppy quirks - like inconsistent fills on form imports and inconsistent information transfer from federal to state entries. So each year I'm spending more and more time double-checking that TurboTax is doing what it is supposed to do.

Don't like the sneaky charge "refund processing fee" for deducting fees out of the refund. Seems shady to not be more upfront. I was receiving blank pages, I had to restart the software, thankfully that's all it took. Different sections could have had more details.

A Step Backward

This year's Turbotax was a step backward. The new-style Dividend/Income/etc. section was a nightmare to figure out and use! It was so much better before. I still like Turbotax and will continue to use it, but I'm hoping you'll go back to the way it was.

Too Many Clicks

It took way too many clicks to skip importing and then begin to type in entries myself! Also please note that Washington State does not have a state income tax. This year's Turbotax kept trying to get me to file a state return when I don't even have one to file!
