You screwed up my state return, the standard deduction was not calculated. Too late to try to fix it now. Some information is confusing. Example just state that AGI is line 11 on the Federal 1040 form.

Turbo tax this year was a nightmare.

Horrible software. Repeated entries within tax forms several times, causing end game tax burden 2-3 times what it actually was - at 11:10 PM. I was able to fix the TT generated errors and filed at 11:30 PM on April 15th, received the TurboTax confirmation screen that both my Federal and State Returns were submitted, along with with payment... and yet NOTHING WAS ACTUALLY TRANSMITTED. When I checked the IRS website at 11:45, it had a message that said it would be down for maintenance at 11:45. When I checked the IRS website this morning, my return had not been filed, and my bank account had not been debited for either Fed or State. And so, I went back into the TurboTax software. I opened the file for 2024 and it said "there are a few more steps you need to take to file the return. And so I went through those steps (which was confirming all the details I had done during the final steps the previous evening) and filed the returns (again). When the software asked me if I wanted to review the product, it remembered my response from last night, in which I gave the product an overall rating of 2 stars. I have since amended it to 1 star, and will look for another option next year.

turbo tax ip pin

if anyone actually reads these it certainly would help to ask for your ip pin when your entering your license id. and mention you need a new one yearly and STOP putting last years number in automatically in which causes a ton of rejections and stress. Stop that auto fill in and put the ip code in after your license info.

Return rejected, "Review Again" doesn't work

My federal return was rejected, I followed Turbo Tax's email instruction to go back into Turbo Tax, there was no link to review the federal return. I redid the return to the best I can, and then filed it. It was rejected again. This time, Turbo Tax comes up with a link "Review Again" next to the Rejected words. I clicked on the link, nothing works. Tried a couple more time, no, it does not. The software is full of bugs, and I have to pay another $50 for live help, and wait for 1 hour to get a call back. Still waiting...
