tax program excellent!

TurboTax - Don't do your taxes without.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years, probably since its inception. What I like is that it is easy to use (user friendly), contains all the forms, even obscure ones like the Form 2555 for overseas workers, and it asks you all the questions you need to answer. I beleive I have been able to maximize my refund in most years.

Excellent Tax Tool

I am not a fan of the new format for deciding whether to download files from the institutions directly or to enter data myself. Everything else is excellent, easy to use and easy to understand.

State Filing Fee Incorrect

Turbotax advertise CA state return as $20 but when it came time to pay, it was $25 dollars which I accepted. Took one star off for this inconsistency.

Turbo Tax was frustratuing for the year of 2024 re

It took me more than 30 minutes to transmit my completed tax returns because even after I went to the command Online to Update the program, it would not allow me to do so. I had to wait more than 30 minutes and sign out and sign back in in order to finally transmit.

Turbo Tax is Great as Usual

Easy to use as usual. I've been a long time user and they're very good at maintaining the user experience year over year. Seems to be incrementally improving with regards to being able to grab documents from other financial institutions. There was an issue with filing but contacted support and they were able to fix the issue within a few minutes and the support person was awesome.
