TurboTax is very antiquated, it was a good system/interface fifteen years ago. We have a relatively straight forward return without very many documents and it still takes the better part of a day to fill out. Many times the software will lead us through many questions and then tell us we don't qualify. I can understand having to go through that process if the numbers will be close but we end up not qualifying by two to three times the amount.
Put some AI in the software to make it much more efficient.

Turbotax is good but can be improved.

Only issue was confusing instructions when entering income arising from non real estate or farm or housing rental income. That is, rental income arising from the non business, infrequent personal property rent.

state filing should be free

The value of the product is declining. The purchase of a state program should not require the additional purchase of state filing. It should be free

Bloated but still good

This application becomes more bloated each year. Slow to install, slower to load. Yet still easy to use and import most data and so far knock on wood I have not been audited since using the software.

not as user friendly as it used to be. It is also getting expensive to use!
