IP PIN problems

I was rejected twice due to IP PIN problem. I had no idea that the IRS renews this every January and the new IP PIN replaces the previous years PIN. You need a BIG caveat right next to the input field for IP PIN and also where to go to retrieve the current one. If that's there, I totally missed and was searching until I finally figured out that after the first IP PIN, you just go to the IRS.gov website to retrieve your current years PIN.
Also, your partnership with Fidelity Investments ought to be cancelled. Up until this year, I always got a free copy of TurboTax through Fidelity. Now, Fidelity only offers me 30% off the download of Premier and it was still more expensive that just buying direct from you. I guess this one's on Fidelity, very cheezy!!

TurboTax is not awesome this year. Disappointed.

Something got worse this year. I imported financial information and it didn't register until I went into each box (dividends and interest) and clicked --then it seemed to recognize the information. Otherwise it was treating it as if it wasn't there, even though it was there. Unearned income screen now has silly bubble-shaped boxes that seem to limit what you can enter for special situations -- this was super frustrating. I had multiple times when the screen wouldn't show me the edit pen for an entry to the right of the entry line. Other times it did. I don't know why the difference. QSBS handling was messed up this year. Other little things were weird or seemed incorrect. I don't really trust TT this year because there were so many weird things and errors.. I had to double check everything.

They are not testing the software before shipping - that is painfully obvious.
Too many hidden buttons and alerts that you have to scroll to find, too many repeated questions, too many sloppy errors that programmers should have caught before even submitting their code.

Correspondence with the TurboTax, 04.15.25 : This is my third attempt to e-file my federal and state tax returns. Twice I got the message that returns were rejected, in spite of TurboTax having run checks and assessed the document as no errors. Now, this third time, the state tax portion of the software did not give us option to add info about our income in 2024 and is unable to calculate due tax amount; we were able to access the state tax credits portion. Overall, the software shows MD refund of $13601 !!! However, I calculated manually and looks like we owe $985.00. Something is very wrong. This software is not reliable at all. I want to return it and get back $$ that I paid for it.

Good product, could use improvement

Good product. One drawback is, product does not import my trading activity well. I had to rely on summary entry with paper 1099 sent to IRS.

Turbo Tax comprehensive tool

Good and comprehensive tax software. I would only recomend to add more tax information for retiree on federal and stae level taxes. In addtion, to inlcude free one state tax return submition.
