Cumbersome tax program

The desktop version has always been easier to use and jump to forms, but some changes this year have limited that version. TT does not handle well the foreign tax credit when more than one country has data from brokerage. I had to pay for the tax advice to get this done and still was cumbersome. I may have to look for another program next tax season

Turbo tax was not really user friendly this time.

I was disappointed that I couldn't enter all the gambling of lottery tickets that I had purchased over the year.
There were other things that I didn't have my receipts so I couldn't enter them in to offset my taxes

OK but not great

I have used turbo tax for years. I had issues downloading the software and had to get help. Tammy was very helpful, but the fact I had to get her to help was an issue. Some of the steps weren't clear but I could work through it. I had som K forms and this is what I need clarification for. I am not convinced I got the best return I could get

Software is too buggy.
State software is flaky.
State e-file cost is too high.
There's no way to report bugs! Which is nuts.

Easy to follow instructions lead you through all the right forms and boxes. I used to pay an accountant $1,000 for what I now do myself for less than $100.
