Estimated payments confusing

Everything went pretty smoothly, except when I got to trying to see and schedule estimated 2025 payments, and then things got extremely frustrating. I couldn't find that option anywhere in the federal section and spent over an hour tearing my hair out looking for it. It wasn't until I had given up and printed the return that the vouchers for estimated payments appeared. Let us know what you're doing, for Pete's sake! Also, with the New York return, I said that I wanted the first payment of 2025 ES taxes to be automatically withdrawn, and I hope it will be, but I saw nothing to that effect on the NYS cover sheet, and I was supplied with four vouchers. Again, please spell out what you have or haven't done!

TurboTax of Late

It seems that TurboTax has gotten less intuitive and more vague on built in support. I have been using TT for 20 years now and the past couple of years it has really fallen off on holding your hand through the process of filing taxes.

Turbotax premium is not helpful. Needs improvement

I purchase the desktop premier version and i am very disappointed. importing brokerage equity transactions was useless. Turbotax couldn't parse the text with the name of the security! That's really bad. I had to type almost everything. The software doesn't understand and can't process short sales correctly.
It also can't help with guiding on taking capital tax losses correctly.
Two stars are given for the ability to at least read last year's turbotax file correctly!

Had to do my own taxes this year rather than send to my regular guy. Because procrastination. TurboTax made the whole process pretty easy by walking me through each step. My only issue was that I lost my place a few times, and it was not immediately intuitive to get back to where I was. I found myself clicking through steps I'd already completed. Since TurboTax saved all the data I'd input, it wasn't a huge deal. And TurboTax even found a tax credit for me that my regular guy didn't! Turns out I could have been claiming it for the last couple of years. Overall, a win, and I am planning to ditch the guy and go with TurboTax next year. I am maybe even inspired to be better organized and get to my taxes a bit earlier next time.

Turbo tax is No Longer awesome

Have used Turbo tax for many years (at least 15). This year there were multiple problems filing and paying. Not enough information is given on the pages to guide user. Had to pay $60 for online support to walk through the filing / payment process. Did not receive payment confirmation, was told that I must monitor credit card statements???
