Excessive charge to efile state taxes

Charging to file state taxes when the state does not charge to electronically file results in filing via mail. I'll try other products next year and see if they are also try to suck money out of you like turbo tax

Not awesome for 2024

In past years, TurboTax was great, then last year, pretty good, and this year I am not happy. We filled in all the info it asked for, and it prepared a final 1040SR with needed attachments. But it won't let us efile until we fill in some worksheets! Why weren't they filled in with the info we were already asked?? Why do WE have to use those small windows to fill in pages that could have been done automatically by the info we already entered? AAAAUUUGGGHHH!

NO EXCUSE FOR NOT having AutoSave as a default set

After I spent HOURS entering income info the program crashed without warning upon pushing a "continue" button losing ALL my entries! Auto save should be present and happen every time the "continue button causes it to move to a new page. I also was very unhappy that all helps were chats and it took an hour of digging and waiting to talk to a live person- who of course only said "Of course it lost all data - it crashed"

GREAT TOOL, ONLY ISSUE IS IT DOESN'T TRANSFER THE INFORMATION FROM ETRADE FOR ALL STOCK COST BASIS. ESPECIALLY WHERE COST BASIS IS ZERO

A nightmare!

After many hours of work, I had all my forms finally (!) completed and pushed to file it electronically, only to get a message that it couldn't go through and was told I needed to update the TurboTax software. I asked through the message box how to do this, and was told to quit the application and restart. I followed the instructions, and discovered that all my information was lost. I had to painstakingly re-enter all my information. It's painful enough to do your taxes – to have to do them twice is a nightmare!
