Not user friendly

TT goes through endless questions which seem irrelevant and/or already known from other questions, and are difficult to appreciate how they affect taxes. Comparing the answers to prior year filings also using TT is very difficult and likely to create inconsistent answers.

Flexible, covers a lot of varied issues. Not perfect but very good. Needs a better search function for not-so-simple questions. I wasted a lot of time searching on the Internet for questions on rental property sales.

Turbo Tax once again!

Great Experience, again. I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and have been fully compliant to all regulations and requirements for taxes. It is easy and i like the screen pop ups to explain the tax information when using the program.
This year i had to purchase the download version which was a little cumbersome but functional.
I had a billing issue at the very end but the on line help was excellent and the help I received from the associate was excellent.

Will not look back at last year's return!

It asks me questions of last year's taxes when I have made it available to the software. Why do I have to go back into last year's pdf and try and find this weak software's question? This system is acting like it did not do my taxes last year. Really?

Simple questions left unanswered

Instructions and questions are often not clear. For example, when I attempted to file an extension, I was told by my app to post it. Later, I found that I had to go online and then could Efile the extension. Also, at one point, I was told that I might have to send additional documents to the IRS, but this never came up again and I am told by the app that my taxes are done and accepted. I'm still left wondering if I need to file additional docs, but the app doesn't tell me.
