TurboTax Sucks

Didn't import previous year TurboTax amounts. ie carry forward capital losses. TurboTax sucks.

Turbo Tax had serious errors

This was the poorest experience I've had using TT for over 40 years. As I entered data and looked at my tax calculations, I was very NOT CONFIDENT. The reason is that the data on the display was not updating properly. It turns out that the tax calculation was correct ....I compared to a professional sftwr package....so it was basically a display issue that caused confusion. Intuit programmers need to carefully comb thru your code to insure that DEDUCTIONS are properly displayed ...ie, prior year and current year. Specifically, check your write statements for CASUALTY and LOSS deductions.

Product is generally fine. I use it every year. However, this year faced some serious issues while downloading Investment forms which required manual intervention to rectify.

Annoying error correction misleads user

Turbo Tax usually does a great job of tax prep. This year I missed a check box, and it would not process the return as it contained an error. The software then asked me to fix something other than that missing check box. That made no sense. I paid extra for support that was good and directed me to the proper place after being misdirected by the software, as it was a known error. Making a faulty product and asking for money to fix it isn't fair or ethical in my opinion. That's why I give it a low rating.

No way to increase "FONT" size to view tax information. At times this made viewing of displayed information difficult.
