Turbo Tax Glitch

Glitch with downloaded deluxe version. System reads scanned W-2 from DFAS and inputs box 14 information into box 12 causing error in tax return. I.e.> box 14 K- pretax dental and vision. This error will cause system to add this amount as an erroneous tax.

Very bad. I am caught in loop trying to complete state taxes. it will not let me file state. Just paid an additional $25 and it still does not work. I been trying for 3 hours. I am going to tax preparer now.

Excellent - but just a little tweaking in the Oil and Gas Royalties would add a +++! In the ownership of mineral rights, Rents are a little different, that is when operators/producers (the holders of the Lease) pay a shut-in fee in lieu of production royalty, they report Rent on the 1099-Misc form. Also some Lessors, when paying a bonus for the Lease, utilize a 1099-Misc with the amount identified as Rent. Whatever the effective date of the lease, users of Turbo Tax must declare the mineral estate was "rented" the entire year.

Casualty loss entry for minor hurricane damage

Very difficult to enter hurricane casualty loss. I may have done this incorrectly.
How to enter investment and margin expenses when not itemizing deductions is difficult to identify correct forms.
Also PTP k-1 additional information is very difficult...some entries are not required or possible.
