Beware of TurboTax

This is the second year in a row where TurboTax looses some of my depreciation after file has been saved with the depreciation. When trying to update and correct the problem TurboTax seemed to have crashed because much information was missing and error warnings appeared. The program didn't work. After exiting and logging in several times it finally worked again so I could re-enter the missing data.

Turbo Tax is great for self-filing.

I used the walk me through option of Turbo tax Premier so that it would get my attention of what information I needed to report and alert me to exemptions that I was qualified for. I was confident in my filing that I did not use tax expert help. It is great to have that option available to provide expert help when needed.

Download is better than using CD. The only issue is at the very beginning when asked if TurboTax can make changes to your system, this is misleading as it sounds that something foreign is going to mess with your set ups. if you answer "NO" then download does not happen. you need to let the user know a "YES", is OK & allows the download & any updates to system, to happen. Updates relate to TurboTax only.
