Worth it - but can be better

It works, and is valuable, but there is massive room for improvement to speedup the effort to self-submit taxes. I still find myself spending significant time going back to PDFs from things that were imported via uploads, not sure why this is. If you can upload it, and it's reported to the IRS, then this should be an effortless process.

Improvements from previous years don't help

Changes in the investment income section - forms 1099-DIV, etc, were not helpful. I had to do a lot of manual calculations to put in the numbers. Too much scrolling was required to return to the page and document I was working on when I selected "edit".

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING

SEVERAL ISSUES WITH TRYING TO INPUT CHARITABLE DONATIONS. THE PAGE WAS STUCK IN A LOOP AND I FINALLY ENDED UP DELETING AND TRYING TO RE-ENTER. IT STILL WOULD NOT ME ENTER ONE OF MY DONATIONS.
ALSO, FEDERAL INFO DID NOT TRANSFER TO THE STATE FILE. TOOK OVER AN HOUR WITH TAX SUPPORT STAFF (WHO WAS VERY PATIENT AND TRIED TO BE HELPFUL). STILL DIDN'T COME OUT CORRECT ON PRINTED VERSION. IT PUT X's IN SOME OF THE NUMBER FIELDS. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! OVER 20 YEARS OF USING TURBOTAX AND THIS MIGHT BE MY LAST.

Turbo tax is awesome...but a small part regressed

The screen where it shows all the investment income is a lot worse than other years. Other than that it is a breeze as always

Turbo Tax 2024 was Awful!

I have used Turbo Tax software for more than 20 years and this is the first that I have ever experienced an issue which consisted of multiple errors, slower than slow start up and abrupt disconnection. I didn't have the latter problems when I used the disc.
