Turbo Tax - I'll see you again next season.

Clear explanations throughout the process. However, at the end I was unable to find how I could save the Tax Return to my hard drive in a PDF file. I ended up printing it, but I would have preferred to save a PDF. Then after several frustrating attempts I was able to find a unique nickname.

Convoluted and confusing

Paid for the Premium Federal eFile plus the State eFile but will have to mail it in. I had two errors, one was the incorrect AGI and the other was an incorrect PIN number. I think I found the correct AGI and maybe the correct PIN number. But not a way to correct them through the program.
The APP tells me I can "mail" them in, but I've already paid to do it on line. This version of Turbo Tax is the most confusing and convoluted version I have ever used.

Where importing things are concerned it no longer overwrites accounts that were previously there, it creates all new entries and now you have several boxes that are blank that are left over from last year. You have to individually delete each of these old boxes. Also, i thought i was purchasing Audit Defense and now there is a purchase for Live Help. I did not want this and i would like to return this purchase as it was a mistake and i never used it.

Works pretty well as always, but I do not like the lack of a CD/DVD for installation. Depending on wireless internet or/or a landline is asking for trouble, despite the fact that all your updates come through that way.

Bad for foreign tax credits, bank accts

Clunky for foreign tax credits & reporting foreign bank accounts ... follows the terribly designed government forms instead of gathering the information in a sensible way.
Charges $25 to e-file state taxes (rip-off)
