Bad experience with 2024

Download of brokerage data got numbers in 1040 but not in all worksheets. Other information regarding brokerage firm (address, etc.) did not download. Attempts to populate worksheets only duplicated amounts already in 1040. Turbotax would not let me work around so that I could file electronically. I finally printed and filed by mail. Arter 20 years with Turbo tax, I may look for something else next year

Turbo Tax Works!

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now and It has saved me a lot of money over having someone else do them. It makes it easy enough to do your taxes as long as you don't have convoluted or confusing issues that take a lot of tax knowledge to figure out.

Annualizing income and deductions feature missing

The product does most functions as advertised. I would be glad to see the annualized income/deductions/tax withheld feature. It required me to go through a harrowing rabbit hole to figure out. All of the information is available in W-2, 1099B/DIV/INT. Turbo Tax gave the easy solution of a 13000 underpayment penalty. After Annualizing my income, the penalty vanished.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - Glitchy and lacks functionality

Incredibly glitchy and lacks ability to e file. This program would routinely delete and insert information in batches making workflow near impossible. I do not recommend.

The best tax preparation software on the market.

I tested software as an engineer for most of my career. I know "buggy" programs when I see them.
I rarely (over about 20 years) have had a problem with Turbo Tax. Always good explanations for complex, gray areas in the tax code (of which there are many).

2 problems

I had 2 problems: 1) I sold and bought a house and the calculations did not come out correct. I called and Janice took care of it. 2) a interest amount just turned up and I had to call again, Nocole took care of it. The two ladies were excellent.
