Problems downloading

Had problem downloading the TurboTax this year. I needed to install something and it couldn't find the pathway. I was clueless even after reading help screens on google. Thankfully my son is computer savvy and could get it installed.

Good but multi-state return needs improvement

I am holding back on the 1 star as filing for the non-resident NY state vs the NJ resident state tax return, there is no guidance in the software screen how to handle W-2's col 14 NYSRCINCOM to proportionate the income in the non-resident return filing. That was disappointing and I had to pay for live tax advisor for 1 question. Can you improve this for the next version? Thanks!!

Works well, but I think it's overpriced. Also, e-payment for federal never worked for me, so I just pay by check.

Turbo Tax getting sloppy

It seems that Turbo Tax is getting sloppy.
I'm finding thatome suggestions for taking a deduction for Foreign taxes, the AMT, and the handling of original issue discounts needs to be done manually making the software less reliable.

Turbo Tx doesn't work nice with antivirus

called Turbo Tax twice for support for desktop version - worthless. One even said I would be called back, never happened. I was able to file my federal online after disabling all Microsoft default security measures exposing my computer to hacks. Could never get state file electronically and couldn't/wouldn't even finish to file by mail. Wont' be a return customer after years a customer. Very few years filed as supposed to be able.

TurboTax is good

Using TurboTax for more than 5 years now. Had issue with my AGI shown wrong for previous year and there is no way to edit or correct it. it's in Federal Carryover Worksheet. Hope this should not cause any issue in e-filing. Overall TurboTax experience is great and easy for online tax return.
