State Return Rejected eFiling with TurboTax

GA state return got rejected, submitting efiling via Turbo Tax. The reason was Federal Return was not accepted yet. Why didn't TurboTax know that would happen and hold off on the GA state tax return submission until the Federal Return gets submitted? I can see this time delay and headache happening for the next few hours or into tomorrow. TurboTax should know that would happen. Every year I have some problem with TurboTax for the last few years and every year I say I am not going to buy it again. When will I learn. UPDATE: Apparently my Fed return also got rejected although I did not receive an email notification of that. I followed the step by step guide but it was not correct. Manually corrected the return and resubmitted.

Medical deduction

The filing was easy and your tax advisor assisted us with a question for medical deductions which allowed us a refund rather than a payment!

Problem with OK state return

The federal return works pretty good. The state return [OK] has problems. I have no OK income other than residential rental income/expenses reported on Schedule E. All other income is in TX. Because I had Schedule D income, Turbo Tax OK "REQUIRRED" that I enter OK "type of property sold in OK". There was NONE, it's all TX but I had to enter something or TT would not finalize & submit my OK return!!!!

TurboTax Premier get the job done

This covers everything about tax filing that I have to deal with. I like the desktop product over the web-based one since I have much more flexibility and freedom to make manual changes if necessary and easily go back and forth between the actual forms and step-by-step instructions. My favorite feature is the document import. My life would be so much harder without that.
