Used TurboTax for 25 years, plan to keep using it for as long as I am paying taxes.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments

Since I can no longer copy and paste from other documents into Turbo Tax, I doubt that I will use it again.

Turbotax problems

I used turbo tax for a couple yrs. now but this one was the worst experience. Took an hr. to download, then had to uninstall and reinstall. After doing my taxes, it would not allow me to print. Not happy with this.

Ran into Turbo Tax application conflicts

Taxes were easy once I overcame the conflicts and problems associated with needing both Turbo Tax Premier and Turbo Tax Business. First, after updating Business, Premier stopped working. Eventually, I deleted Business and Premier, reloaded Premier and redid my personal tax entries. Subsequently, doing State taxes would never begin despite a 60+ minute Turbo Tax helpdesk call. Upon closing the help conversation, I advised that I would load Turbo Tax on a different Windows 11 (same OS as prior laptop) computer. I transferred the 2024 tax file and got it to work. Entering the tax data with Premier and even entering a trust tax return with Turbo Tax Business were very easy, but the software problem soured the experience.

GREAT FULL COMPLEMENT OF STATE FORMS, EVEN NON-RESIDENT FORMS. I DID TAXES BY HAND UNTIL MY WIFE INSISTED I DO IT BY TURBO TAX. I AGREED ONLY IF I COULD CHECK THAT TURBO TAX WAS RIGHT BY DOING IT MANUALLY AS WELL. TO MY EMBARASSMENT, TURBO TAX FOUND AN ERROR THAT I MADE. THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO. I WILL NEVER SWITCH. I BELIEVE!
