2024 TT Sucks / Watch Out for TABOR in Colorado

I've been using TT desktop for more than 10 year - it just gets worse every year - slower, bad help and search features, and MISSED the Colorado TABOR tax refund opportunity - I had to go back and tell it about TABOR!
PS also difficult to locate IP PIN, no prompts from TT; even paying TT for state filing via CC doesn't work. Very bad experience - (but I keep coming back, why)

Overly complicated. May be the government's fault and not Intuit. One problem that should be fixed is the inclusion of forms that do not contribute to the tax filing and errors generated to require information for those forms.

Interface between quick and turbotax needs work

It caused me great problems when I opened the product and clicked on online and later found out I can't import from Quicken Burying to need to make it abundant I clear that there are two products one that interfaces with cooking and the other doesn't.
Much of the 1099 are basic information about pay ee had to be reentered manually it shouldn't have been able to import it or at least copied after was entered the first time this duplication was a real pain
There was duplication and now state tax return that required a duplicate payment for taxes is due you need to take a look at that was incurred when I was doing a preview and then when I finally finished everything up it required me to do it all over again so I don't know if I make two payments or one
It would be nice to have voice entry functionality. didn't work well with Windows Voice typing

Overall a great product, some user friendly needed

In the federal return after entering the interest, dividents and investment income, I found it difficult to go back into the items to review. Some were labeled with account numbers and investment firm names, others were not. The inconsistency in displaying informtation became confusing and difficult to follow.

ordinarily Id give this a 5 but I did not like the changes to the format and there were often parts that did not transfer properly to the forms

Supporting Details are full of Software Errors

The supporting details in the forms method are laced with blatant software errors. Intuit should be able to make a simple spreadsheet without any software errors, but their supporting details have MANY blatant software errors.

Problem with TurboTax Update Feature

Have problem with the TurboTax software. After completing all the input and ready for filing, the TurboTax software start installing the latest update. This update fails with an error message "Problem with Microsoft Installer Error #1603". Cannot complete the filing until I transfer saved tax file to a different laptop and complete filling tax return on that laptop. The possible cause could be older version of Windows 10 on the PC.
