Download this year was slow. Software a little more cumbersome than previous. Prefer CD-ROM going forward.

Good tool - slight improvement needed in UI

I like Turbotax, It does well in calculating taxes, especially when stock has been sold. One small comment: inconsistencies in the UI are a bit frustrating. Everything to proceed, go back, etc, requires uses to click on a button. However, to delete an unneeded form, such as an extra 1099R, instead of a delete button, there is a iconof a trash can, and is is not highlighted with a different color on the form. Be consistent - use buttons everywhere to help avoid frustration with trying to find a needed function.

Some of this years changes were made to simplify entries, but I found them to take a longer amount of time due to back and forth to enter all items. Otherwise Turbo Tax is my goto software

2024 TAX RETURN

I used TURBO TAX filed my tax return every year, it guides me how to be filing in every step, nice and easy to understand and accurate, it makes no mistake and success every year. I highly recommended this tax return product, five stars !

Good Program But Has Bugs

The program is very easy to use. However, I ran into problems when I would save my work. Sometimes it would not recognize the data file it had created and start the program from beginning. However, selecting the data file itself returned thing to the proper condition. This is something that should be looked at and corrected.

The software does not import all the info from brokerage data into tax return, which is confusing. Would be nice to have an option to go right away for standard deduction without going through all the steps.
