Entry of Income from interest, dividends, and capi
on April 14, 2025

The old way of entering interest, dividends, and capital gains was easier to work with than the new way. With a large number of entries, the new method is unwieldy.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbotax Deterioration
on April 14, 2025

Forms are OK as were prior years. Step by step continues to deteriorate. Probably the worst version I have used and that covers a number of years. Step by step is very difficult to follow, particularly for investment info. Import is not good, leaves items (albeit blank) from prior year and adds new imported data. Very difficult to sort out current from old without going back and forth to forms. Even then not easy because it is difficult to correlate the form with the item on the step by step process. Not a very pleasant experience with turbotax this year.

Great!

I find that Turbotax is fairly easy to use. The cost of e-filing State is too expensive and should be free or maybe included in the cost up front.

Not happy this year, 2025. Turbo Tax sucked
on April 14, 2025

have used Turbo Tax for years with same username, email and login information. this year, 2025, Turbo Tax would not pull any information from the same financial institution I have used for years, nor the prior year's return. very disgusting and worrisome that a product could fail this poorly - am concerned about the accuracy of this product now.

TurboTax Download worked well. Bye Bye CD
on April 14, 2025

TurboTax download worked well. My only problem this year is my credit union does not participate in the 1099-INT download program. I was trapped in the program looking for the button to allow me to manually input my 1099 info. I eventually entered my info after some digging.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Oklahoma state return prep is awful
on April 14, 2025

Federal return is relatively easy. Doing the Oklahoma state return is terrible. Looks like TurboTax did not spend enough time with this state return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
