Data input boxes not clearly identified to 1099-Bs

TT input boxes provided for entry of interest, dividend, capital gains, etc., data could not be related to specific imported 1099-INT, 1099-DIV and 1099-B forms . Previous versions of TT were much better at allowing/specifying specific accounts from which the data was imported. REQUIRING entry of account numbers would really be of great help. This year's format fell down in this area causing much confusion.

Turbotax doesn't like ExPats.

Turbotax still does not realized that many of it's customers don't live in the USA.
One cannot pay for the product unless both the credit card provider and the credit card card user have a US address.
One cannot register the product. Registration accepts only US/Canada addresses.
One cannot enter a contact telephone number. The system does not support the internal format for mobile numbers.

Overpriced....

No more TurboTax. I discovered TurboTax is a big money making product. The cost of the product, the charging for assistance, audit protection, processing fees.....by the time all said and done they have grabbed another $100 plus. Its fine if you have complicated taxes, However, for basics...free online is fine. TurboTax charged me $60 in the end to process, online ZERO. Bye bye TurboTax

Not worth the cost for simple returns

I have the automatic renewal membership. The amount I am charged each year is higher than the amount I would pay if I bought it retail (due to sales/coupons, etc..) In addition, Turbotax requires that I pay additional amount to efile state income tax.
In the future, I am likely to cancel my automatic renewal and find a lower cost way to file online.
