Used to be the best product, and now they are all about the upsell. $83 JUNK! with no help or answers unless I paid more money. I hope the people that make it are ashamed of what garbage their products have become. There used to be support. nothing now.

Worst desktop turbotax experience ever.

Worst desktop turbotax experience ever. 1) You changed the RMD accounting (one RMD satisfied by Vangard - two different ira account withdrawals) and it took two hours and online help to fix. Software kept charging a $10,000 penalty for not withdrawing enough. No explanation of change or direction on how to resolve within software. 2) Tried 10 times to e-file. After research again online, I realized the payment for audit was not accepted. How do you pay zero charge? The audit help ('$0' charge) had to be removed to file. That took 2 hours of checking and rechecking. You owe me four hours!!! Very frustrating!

TAX ENTRY CHANGES

TurboTax should still offer a disk, especially for Premier or other upgraded programs. Premier is a good program but sometimes I have difficulty making changes as I couldn't get back to the applicable program page and would have to open up the file and select worksheet pages from there.

Why was I told I did not qualify for the EIC?

TurboTax told me I was not eligible for the Earned Income Credit, even though I am a single mother of 2 minor chldren, and I'm not sure why. Instead, it gave me the standard deduction. Is it because I let another family member in our household claim them as dependents as they are paying the majority of household expenses? Thankyou

Overall, easy and straightforward. I had some less common deductions this year (Medical Expenses) that didn't seem to be handled / calculated correctly by TurboTax.
