TurboTax needs better UX and UX testing.

Turbotax definitely needs better testing. For a widely used product like this, the UX and UX testing is critical and is lacking severely.

A fantastic team of people are working with Tubo Tax. One young lady from Tech Team did a great job. She restored my Tax file my file from 2024 that had disappeared in Turbo Tax. To do my Taxes I need the files from 2023. to do the taxes for 2024.
I had smart Tax Pro that gave me assistance with my taxes and told me how to prepare for next year.

I've used Intuit sinceTurboTax was MacInTax, and generally been pleased.
This year was mostly smooth but ...
I have several foreign companies and several country ETFs in my portfolios.This year entering the details for Foreign Tax Paid was a hassle. Despite the information being present on the Charles Schwab and Edward Jones 1099s, and several K-1s, I had to dig it out by and hand and calculate the numbers to enter. Yuk!

Had I had time to engage with expert I might not have to guess at some answers. The experts should not cost extra. Their assistance should be included in the original purchase price.
