I have been using TurboTax for over 14 years and it's better every year. My taxes are pretty complicated but I always feel confident I am getting the best return.

Downloading the program was not helpful at all.

I have used Turbo Tax for the past 9 years, always getting the CD. This year I downloaded it and found it very difficult to use. I could not find a button to get me back to where I left off without going through all of screens, sometimes getting stuck in a loop.
After transferring my investment accounts, duplicate dollar amounts appeared that I had to delete, glad I caught them.
The sections for the correction of mistakes did not give any useful help as to how to correct them.
I was disappointed in how much longer it took. Go back to selling the CDs.

TurboTax files with last year's PIN!! >> Rejected

It automatically entered last year's PIN and there was nothing on the page that said -- stop -- get a new one! It was rejected, and I had to go through entire process to get the new PIN entered. This should be caught in the review.

Ive spent 3+ hours on phone with Support in the last week only to eventually find the reason TT would not file my state was there is an unsupported form from CO DR6454 but TT simply aborted and said "It had a snag"

Great Tax Product

I've been using Turbo Tax for a few years now. I like the way it asks all the questions to make sure everything gets covered. The "help" buttons offer a brief description of items that I found helpful.

Turbotax 2024 Tax Return

First year after a decade of use that I haven't given a 5-star rating of Turbotax. Overall, I am still a fan of Turbotax, but I was surprised that there were glitches in the program that weren't there in the past. For example, unable initially to enter real estate taxes on two homes (primary & vacation). I had to wait for several updates until I was able to do this simple task and still had to go into a worksheet to clean up information erroneously put on Schedule E by the program. Manual input on brokerage info did not work as well as it has in the past forcing a use of the import function. Neither issue was a show stopper, but these glitches weren't there in the past.
