TurboTax makes me timely.

I have been using TurboTax Premier for many years. Especially, I like the ability to purchase a 2nd state that I have income in. The efiling process is smooth. I give only 4 stars because each year the software changes just enough to be a bit awkward. For tax year 2023, I applied part of my refund from my state of residence to the next year and it didn't work exactly. I especially like the ability to directly download all my brokerage account transactions and the calculations are automatic.

Printing problems gave Turbo a black eye

Love Turbo Tax but for the first time ever I could not print my documents. Google search indicated that several people were also complaining yet there was nothing in Turbo warning us about the problem.

Intuit has the entire country hostage

Intuit has been lobbing the US government for decades to prevent legislation that would make filing taxes easier. They want filing to be complicated so we are forced to use their product.
