2024 Turbo Tax Review

It just keeps getting better and easier to file my taxes! Hats off to Turbo Tax! Really like the Live Tax advice! Used twice and it was awesome. Called back within 5 to 10 minutes of the estimate.

slow, illogical UI

Each year TurboTax gets slower and slower. Sometimes it takes a minute to open on a reasonably recent computer. The Mac OS version does not allow you to change font size. That means, on a 4k monitor text is so tiny that it is unusable. The only way to make text bigger is to reduce monitor resolution. The UI has many illogical steps. For example, after I have finished Federal Review and found no errors, there is a step that says "Lets see if there are any errors"! Really, what is the federal review for then? Finally, there is still no Linux support. I will stop using Windows soon (after Windows 10 support ends). I will likely shift to another tax software if there is still no Linux support next year and if the tiny fonts on Mac OS still continues.

refund for prior year returns 2021 and 2022 - not accurate, Just made taxable. no ability to change had to delete. not user friendly. had to go back to some steps not covered. its good I know what im doing somewhat.
