Need to update referenced 1040 line numbers

On the Montana Tax Return, you referenced data from 2023 Federal Form 1040 by line number, TT filed Form 1040-SR in 2023. Need to update the script to include line number by various versions of 1040.

UX needs work. Feels very old.

User Experience needs work. Many edit or confirm boxes are not centered on the screen, but require the user to scroll all the way to the top to confirm a deletion, or far right to find the off-screen pencil in order to edit. In addition, when i work on one area, it scrolls me all the way back to the top every time instead of staying on the area of focus (e.g. Medical)

I've been using TurboTax for many years and have always been happy with it. Some of the "help" results aren't as seamless as in years past though. For instance quick access to other forms is almost non existent now.

Not so great on a Mac

If using a Mac you will want to save your work very frequently as the program quits unexpectedly
It would be nice if you could drill down to the line where you enter data. Years ago it did this. Too bad that feature is no more

Good but needs a little more tweaking

Pretty clean and simple process. Could use a little more clarity and guidance for the specific premier topics. Rental income was a little muddied and took more effort than before to tie link to Quicken and pull the interest/taxes over correctly now that our returns are standardized deduction not itemized. (We have an attached apartment we rent out.)
Now that our daughter has graduated HS but not full-time college student she has to file her own return. This status is pretty murky on the Turbo tax guidance when we prepared her taxes together (kept making wrong assumptions about her actual situation)

Need to get lot more better

Been a user for 20-25 years now. I haven't seen much improvements in the user experience.
1. When you run Checks for errors, as you find the errors, show the link to the step/form to go review and fix!
2. Some drop down box won't even close - just hang in there. I had to close the app to get rid of them and start over - come on, this BASIC stuff!
3. I ended up using Perplexity (AI search/discovery) to understand/learn to complete my taxes..Turbotax can do lot better in this era of Gen AI!

Turbotax is a solid and rigorous tax software

Tried to transmit taxes several times and was met with message that system was unable to transmit my taxes and that I should try using my credit card instead of charges subtracted from return. Also had page saying this $120 program included free federal and 1 state submission. Otherwise, I love the program. I have used it for a decade and love its simplicity. Wish you sold it on a flash drive commercially since you discontinued the DVD last year. More people would buy if it was commercially sold as a flash drive at major retail stores. Online purchases are sometimes iffy with regards to security of credit cards.
