Appreciate the refund

I like the fact that TurboTax honored my refund request, on the Premium service (which was pretty much the same as the Deluxe).

Turbo Tax lost their stars

I bought TurboTax Premier as it said I got one State included. Well, the State part didn't work. I spent almost three hours on the phone with a Turbo Tax help center person. Very helpful, but the problem was not easy to resolve. Finally got my State return filed, but it cost me $45 to get the State downloaded and then another $15 to file it. $60 for an included State seems pretty steep. Turbo Tax lost a lot of stars for that. Your service rep was very polite and stayed with me to the end. I would like to get a refund for the $45 free State

Not As Reliable As Previous Years

For some reason I had to fight with importing some tax forms this year. It took three tries for the program to keep the data, even though I went through the entire review process each time. It took a lot of extra time and effort to make sure the necessary information, and only the necessary information was retained. Most years importing tax forms goes well.

Please correct Form 8615 D Worksheet, Line 47

Form 8615 D Worksheet needs to be fixed. Line 47 is picking up line 46, even though line 45 is zero. (Line 47 is supposed to be the smaller of line 45 or 46.) The only way for me to correct this is to override line 45 to show a zero (it was blank) and the override prevents me from e-filing. VERY frustrating!!
This appears to be a known issue (known to users anyway) because a search in the TurboTax community shows others having the same problem. And it has been an ongoing issue that is not getting fixed. I now need to amend my prior year return because I found the same problem (the number was much smaller, so it did not get my attention) last year.
