Superficial changes dont fix longstanding problems

Didn't carry over capital losses from TurboTax 2023. What else did it get wrong?? Not being a tax professional, I can't check this. Review catches omissions - which is nice - but how did they get there to begin with??
The new digital assistant is useless and it's complicated to get to the old help center (have to log out, go to help, then click X when it asks you to log back in!)
Taking a photo of the W2 to upload is nice, but why does it only work for W2s?
Past problems remain: some items are deeply buried (self-employed health insurance, Roth conversion), MA state return is sometimes cryptic
The little esthetic changes this year don't do anything for me - make it less cryptic and less buggy
After 20 years, maybe it's time to try a different tax prep program.

Poor Search Box Results & UI design for payment

Item #1: Entering simple terms in the search box associated with information requested in the online Turbo Tax forms was not useful. The search tool had no simple answers and wanted to shove me off to some type of community forum. This is "not useful" when someone is actively working on taxes, and needs immediate information. I ended up doing web based searches external to the Turbo Tax tool, to clarify information that was being requested. Hopefully, your team can review and address these issues for future versions.
Item #2: We were at the end of the online efile submission process, and went to pay for extra state filing fee. When entering the credit card expiration year, the option for the year of 2025 was off the screen, and the window was not adjustable. We were also not allowed to type in the year, which would be a good alternative. Clicking the mouse outside of the range of the box for year, where there was no year displayed, finally loaded the year of 2025 into the field for processing, and we were able to complete our submission. Please review the user interface and design for drop-down and pop-up boxes for future versions of your software.

All was going great, until I got to Connecticut

There was something odd about how Turbo Tax calculated my Connecticut taxes. Maybe it's on Connecticut, but I had worked half the year in NY, as a NY resident, and the other half in a hybrid arrangement in Connecticut, as a NYS resident (CT non-resident). Yet CT wanted to use my TOTAL (Federal) AGI as their initial basis for my CT Income tax. I had to manipulate the numbers until it was charging me CT tax on my legit CT income. That, or I totally screwed it up.

Overall I just adore Turbotax. I have been using it for decades. BUT I had a difficult time finding where and how to start. I am not computer savvy so it took some time to find the correct site and I called TT to find the license code only to have it appear once I got to the appropriate site. I find TT so helpful in asking the questions and then being able to have it explained with the pop-up tabs.
