Very Good. Would like some more flexibility

Tax preparation is very good. Also e-file makes it simple. Would like to be able to create multiple returns to see the differences when evaluating different tax reporting options.

good program but you've ruined the help screens. In the past you could read all about the form you're working on now it just takes you to IRS. I liked how it was before.

Losing faith in Intuit...

I've been using turbotax for decades. I've never had as much trouble as this year. They keep trying to gt me to pay more for audit help or experts, but they are failing at the basic blocking and tackling of getting the information in the correct place on the form or having a link for additional explanation actually go to the explanation.

Supposed to be for investments and other sources of income, however when I imported my investment documents it proceeded to ask me a bunch of questions which I had no idea what the answers were and the TurboTax response to that was "well contact your financial institution to get that information", what is the point of me importing the documents?
Also it's very tacky to try and sell me services throughout the process of me doing taxes, do you want tax advice from an individual, more money, do you want audit defense, more money, would you like to just have the cost of filing taken from your federal taxes... oh there's a premium for that that far exceeds the cost to file, would you like to join our premiums service... SHUT UP ALREADY! I paid for your software, the advertisements should stop at that point.

This years version was less helpful than the past

I have always given a 5 star rating bu this year I wasted a ton of time and your staff's time because of a technical glitch in the software with the Box 14 entry from the W-2 form. Thankfully I had a couple dedicatio staff at the TurboTax help line that escalated the problem and helped me fix it. but the flaw in the software could be fixed preventing a lot of stress and hours of time.
